A Unique Touch

The USS Orca 3D model I've been making is looking really good now.

I've also made a logo or patch for the Orca just like how there's a patch for ships in the US Navy. Additionally, the ship has a motto. For example, the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) aircraft carrier's motto is "Teamwork, a Tradition," or the USS Kentucky (SSBN-737) submarine's motto is "Thoroughbred of the Fleet." The USS Orca's motto is "One with the Sea and Sky."

Besides that, I've been making slight color design changes to some of the planes on the Orca so that each one was different from the others.

The Buzzards squadron has 1 F/A-18D Hornet, 1 EA-18G Growler, and 2 F/A-18C Hornets. The 2 F/A-18C's have different color designs to tell them apart. The one with more yellow striping is the Skywrath flown by Agent Pulso. The other one is the Heavenrush flown by Agent Hostilis.

The Skywrath's design is a reference to the US Navy's squadron VFA-192, the World Famous Golden Dragons.

The Ospreys squadron has 2 F-22 Raptors and 2 F-35 Lightning II's. One of the F-22's and one of the F-35's have more yellow striping. Plus, one Raptor has yellow chevron shapes on the side of its air intakes.

One of the F-14 Tomcats on the USS Orca is starting to have a nice and menacing face now, too.

And another F-14 has black tails, black canopy framing, and additional yellow striping.

This design is a reference to probably one of the most iconic squadrons in the US Navy the Tomcat flew in: VFA-103, the Jolly Rogers. Or VF-103, as it was called back then.

The Sparrows squadron has 2 A-6 Intruders and 2 EA-6B Prowlers. One Intruder has a bit more black than the other one, referencing the US Navy squadron VFA-34 Blue Blasters. Then there's one Prowler with a black tail and black canopy framing which references the US Marine Corps' squadron VMAQ-2, the Death Jesters.

Other than that, I managed to finish another dogfight picture. This one is part of the story "The Legend of Korra: Aid of the Agents," as it is between the F/A-18D Hornet the Cloud Vanisher and the Bending Dragon, which is a J-16 Hidden Dragon.

I've also finished another Agents mission picture. Mission 5: Turbocar Chase.
