Better Week

Last time, I tried sharing my updates on my game "Pirates Pong," but I forgot to actually update it in itch. This time, I managed to do that. Play it here: https://agent-hotman.itch.io/pirates-pong

For Monster Monday, the prompt was to create a titan of some sort. The first thing that came to mind for me was the Great Spirit robot Mata Nui from the LEGO BIONICLE story. Mata Nui was built by the Great Beings for the purpose of being the ruler of the BIONICLE universe. Mata Nui's followers, the Matoran, lived inside his body until the evil Makuta Teridax put Mata Nui into a coma, causing him to fall into the water on the jungle moon of Aqua Magna. The Matoran inside exit the body as Mata Nui slept in the sea of Aqua Magna and an island named after the Great Spirit was made over his face. Some of the Matoran transformed into warriors known as Toa and later on transformed into elderly figures called Turaga to guide the Matoran. Memories of life inside the robotic Mata Nui were erased from all but the Turaga.

Picture of Mata Nui in the BIONICLE media for clarity.

For Figure Tuesday, I didn't necessarily make a character from scratch like I normally do, but rather I updated an already created character. In this case, since these characters are soldiers, I updated the weapons they carry. First up, there's Duke Raxezu, A.K.A. Stormcloud, a soldier in the U.S. Army group "A.B. Squad: 93," which was in operation from 1986 to 1997.

Since I've now gotten back into drawing guns, I made the Steyr AUG, a new weapon used by Stormcloud. Place of origin: Austria

Caliber: 5.56x45mm NATO

And this is Bruce Malone, A.K.A. Blitz, another member of A.B. Squad: 93.

And here is the Winchester Model 1897 used by Blitz. This particular configuration of this weapon has been nicknamed the "Trench Gun."

Place of origin: America

Last weapon used by Blitz is the Remington 700.

That's all for this week. Happy Earth Day!
