One with the Sea and Sky

Updated: Jun 14

All of my texturing has led to a cartoon-friendly USS Orca. It makes me happy to see content from my "Agents" comic book series be brought to life in Blender.

Soon enough, the Orca might be animated and its planes will be flying like the picture above.

This picture was made for both last week's Monster Monday and Figure Tuesday. It's a fight beneath the waves between Agent Link and a new dark scourge the demon king has taken form of: Aquatic Ganon.

This was mostly inspired by the Leviathan from "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" (2001).

As well as Ursula at the end of "The Little Mermaid" (1989).

Other than that, I just spent the week still texturing the USS Orca and the planes on board. This picture here is all the aircraft in the unit named the Buzzards. Planes from left to right: F/A-18C Hornet, F/A-18C Hornet, EA-18G Growler, F/A-18D Hornet.

That's all I did last week.

For this week's Monster Monday, I made an alien design based on the martians from LEGO Life on Mars.

Picture of LEGO martian for clarity.

For this week's Figure Tuesday, the picture is of the Game Gen community against Charles the spider train from "Choo-Choo Charles." In the picture above, Hrach and Ray are in the engine of the Game Gen train, Allison, Gerardo, Adam, Jackson, Ben, and Vives are in the coach, Josh, Isabel, and I are in the freight car, Andrew is operating a turret named "Bob," Jamie is operating a rocket launcher, and Chris is in the caboose using a flamethrower.

For 3D Art Jam Thursday and the rest of the week, I worked on a brand new fighter jet model unrelated to Agents or the USS Orca, the F/A-18F Super Hornet. Unlike my other jet models, this one has different features.

This includes movable flaps, ailerons, and rudders...

And a modeled cockpit for when its canopy opens.

That's all I did for the past 2 weeks!
