Flight of the Ray-Vens

For a while now, I've just been doing the "Naval Aviation" aspect of my Agents comics. Both in art and in 3D Modeling. First, I did the Buzzards unit, then the Caracals, and now, the latest unit is the Ray-Vens. Unlike the previous units, the Ray-Vens fly fighter jets that originally are from the U.S. Air Force rather than the U.S. Navy: The F-15 Eagle and the F-15E Strike Eagle.

For Monster Monday, I made one of the two sharks from the LEGO Agents set "Mission 4: Speedboat Rescue," in which Dr. Inferno's henchman Break Jaw has captured Agent Trace and plans to feed her to his remote-controlled sharks. The sharks have remote control devices attached to their heads that manipulate their behavior and heighten their aggression. On top of that, they're armed with rocket launchers.

This is a picture of the set for clarity.

For Figure Tuesday, I finalized my portrait picture of the Ray-Vens. Characters from left to right: Agent/Callsign/Role/Plane Agent Yam/Ray-Ven/Radar Operator/Ghostly Vulture, Agent Mors/Ray-Ven 2/Pilot/Ghostly Vulture, Agent Rip/Ray-Ven 1/Pilot/Rakurai, Agent Redtail/Ray-Ven 3/Pilot/Death-Hawk, Agent Playback/Ray-Ven 4/Pilot/Shady Shrike, Agent Garm/Ray-Ven 4/Radar Operator/Shady Shrike.

Then for 3D Art Jam Thursday as well as for the majority of the week, I continued on unwrapping my model of the SH-60 Seahawk helicopter. This week's focus was mostly in the engine/air intakes. This was what it looked like when first unwrapped.

And here it is after brushing up on unwrapping.

That's all I got for this week!
