Newest Plans

I've been a bit too engulfed in exploring artstyles, so I'm switching again to looking back at my Turret Defense game "Agents: Mainframe Madness."

While I was starting to work yesterday, an example of a type of game that I could make was a "Guess the number" game. And I decided I'd make one that's themed like a slot machine one would find at a casino. Where did I get this idea? Well...

I got the idea from none other than Jimmy "The Scot" Jordan and his famous VHS video "Top Slots: Spotting the Best." I came across this video from Red Letter Media's video about it on "Best Of The Worst: Wheel Of The Worst."

As for my plans with "Mainframe Madness," I've stated before that my Turret Defense game was inspired by System Defender, was a turret defense minigame on Club Penguin that could only. be played by Agents of the EPF, or Elite Penguin Force. In System Defender, EPF Agents are tasked with defending their computer mainframe from bots sent by Herbert P. Bear the polar bear. Each bot and each turret had strengths and weaknesses. Red turrets had mid-range capabilities, dealt mediocre amounts of damage, and had fast rates of fire. Yellow turrets had long range, dealt low amounts of damage, and had mediocre rates of fire. Purple turrets had short range, dealt high amounts of damage, and had low rates of fire. Conversely, red bots had mediocre speed and durability and dealt mediocre amounts of damage to the main target. Yellow bots were fast, took very little damage, and dealt low amounts of damage to the main target. Purple bots were very durable, slow, and dealt high amounts of damage to the main target. So for "Mainframe Madness," I plan to implement similar mechanics as well as a currency that is earned from defeating enemies that can be spent on upgrades to the turrets to increase their performance.

As for Monster Monday, I didn't end up drawing something in the Laika art-style, but I did make the Maelstrom Dragon from the game LEGO Universe. The Maelstrom Dragon is one of the many evil creations of the main villain Baron Typhonus A.K.A. The Darkitect.

For Figure Tuesday, I drew Dyna-Mite, one of the villains from LEGO Agents. As her name implies, she's a huge fan of explosives.

I also drew another villain from LEGO Agents. This is Claw-Dette, Dr. Inferno's wife.

Claw-Dette's weapon of choice is a Glock 26.

Place of origin: Austria

Magazine: 10 rounds

Range: 50 yards

Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum

Extra Features: 5th Generation, Short Recoil, Locked Breech, Tilting Barrel, Silencer-Compatible Muzzle, Stainless Steel Finish.

Type: Pistol

That's all I have to share for this week!
